Review: Glasses Home Trial by Oscar Wylee

Hey ya'll! Last week I ordered a free home trial pack of glasses from Oscar Wylee. Honestly, it was a spur of the moment thing because it was free and took me about 10 minutes to pick, choose and transact the glasses.

Because of my face shape I always tend to buy my glasses from the male section but some of the glasses appeared on both the male and female pages so I'm not too sure if all the sizing is unisex. I was worried the ones I chose wouldn't fit or suit my face shape but all is well because I ended up deciding on two pairs!

The box is absolutely destroyed as it was semi left out in the rain. /sadface/

Top to bottom: Blair, Baxter, Jacque. Jacque, the one closest to the front is the biggest frames I have ever seen so when I tried them on I looked like Tina from Bob's burgers.

The two pairs I decided on: Winston and Bradley! I've decided to pay for the anti-reflective coating (another $10) because as seen in the consequent selfies, the glare is real.

Winston

Bradley

Hopefully after these arrive I can stop looking like this:

And start to look more like this:

Happy Tuesday to y'all!
Love, Sarah x

P.S. Sorry not sorry for all the beautiful Tina pictures

This Week In Pictures #2

For the past week I have resided at the Choi residence.
Breakfast blueberry bagel, cream cheese, morning news via SMH

Something old from the moleskine

On the last few pages!

Lunch at Beach House after work with Claudia | Date night with Claudia and Jesse at PJ's

On Thursday I went thrift shopping at Endeavour with Claudia. Because there was a power outage in the whole area, the kind ladies there let us pick the items we wanted and leave it in a bag with our names on it to collect at a later time this week. I saw this gorgeous painting and enquired about its price. It's safe to say that I don't have a spare $700. Really contemplated getting those painted faces though! Below are the steals I managed to get:

Cullottes (that I cuffed) - $3.50

Adidas torsions - $20

The Mortal Instruments (I already have City of Bones) - $5 each
I actually wanted to start on City of Ashes this afternoon but I have forgotten what happened in the first book. The Hunger Games, Maze Runner, the Mortal Instruments and the Divergent trilogy have all merged into a huge, undistinguishable plot. Uh oh.

Moon earrings - $3

Claudia's finds

After-work snack: sunflower and rye bagel with cream cheese and salmon

Face (post about my eyelash extensions will be up soon!)

Now back to the desk where I have been impatiently seated at for the past week.

Hope your week has been swell!

Love, Sarah x

This Week In Pictures #1

Good evening ya'll. So I've decided against updating the missing parts of last year as I'm sure if you follow me on instagram, facebook or twitter you'll find the relevant posts there!

This week has been pretty decent.

Wednesdays I have a full day of uni, but my morning classes weren't on this week so I went in late and had lunch with Sasha and Clauds at the Farmer's Markets. Unfortunately no photos of food nor the markets, but Claudia did manage to pick up two bunches of sunflowers for $15 from a flower stall!
Got scouted and interviewed by the fashion editor for mX!

Thursdays are my day off so I went into the city to swap some shoes I had received as a birthday gift for another pair as they were too big. Say hello to my new Windsor Smith Empires!
The most perfect amount of point and chunk in a shoe *o*

Afterwards, I had a room inspection and food tasting at Cloudland for the QUT Law Ball! And so the inspection began:
The Italian restaurant they have during the day (and weeknights?? I'm not too sure)

Heritage Room

The Cellar. This was an actual set up for an intimate dinner party that someone was throwing so we only passed by the room for a bit.

The Alice Room | Before and After

For the food tastings, Cloudland chose 6 random finger foods that we might like to serve on the night of the ball. In the end, I think out of 6 we only went with 1 of the foods we tasted (the pies)... and the rest of the foods we just picked from a menu description so fingers crossed they turn out well on the actual night.

Japanese omelette

Chickpea fritter balls(?)

Lamb pie with spiced yoghurt | Slow roasted chicken something...

Saturday, I got eyelash extensions! I want to do a proper post on them so here is a sneak peak (which was on my twitter so nothing new :P)
*o*

And finally today after church, Nookie and I had an afternoon date since he was back in Brisbane for the weekend! We watched Kingsman and then went for tea before we headed home.
Had tea at Bonsai Botanika because it was the warmest and most inviting-looking place. Because Jinwook was wearing his jacket, it looked like we were in a ski lodge, hence apres-ski.

He also attempted to post this care package to my house but forgot my address so had to give it to me in person HAHA awww.

Anyway. That is all for tonight. Back to writing my research memorandum @_@

Hope ya'll have a happy Monday tomorrow!
Love, Sarah x.
